The city is my motivator and inspiration. The city is in constant transformation, the Amsterdam I grew up in was a different city in every way than it is today. I think architects should play a leading role in this transformation. How do we shape these new forces into spatial opportunities? As an international architect, I like to be in the center where architecture, urbanism, landscape and interior come together and develop new ideas,

concepts and typologies that are unique in time and place. Context is everything.
